Menodocino 2013 Grenache

Grenache is one of the world’s greatest chameleons. It changes it’s taste profile from place to place where it is grown. Our 2013 Grenache comes from a grower in Mendocino. The climate there is very cool. It never really rises above 70 degrees even in the summer months because of the coastal influence.
This wine is light to medium in body. Very easy drinking. Nose of dried strawberry fruit, pomegranate and ruby red grapefruit with subtle hints of fine herbs and cinnamon. On the palate this wine shows off spicy cherry and cranberry notes with pink peppercorn on the finish. Medium acidity with supple tannins. Enjoy with roast duckling, pork chops and even charcuterie.
