Less and Maggie Chafen have grown grapes in Napa Valley for nearly 20 years. Their son, Scott Chafen oversees the daily operations of Dutch Henry Winery.

Less is a Bay Area radiologist, specializing in nuclear medicine and breast imaging technology.
Born in Texas and raised in Virginia, Less brings an intellectual sensibility to the winery and keeps a keen eye on the financial well-being of winery operations. He is devoted to the vineyards that are the foundation of Dutch Henry wines.

Maggie is the arbiter of style at
Dutch Henry. She owns Dottie Doolittle in San Francisco where
the best dressed children take their parents to shop. A California native and Master Gardener, Maggie is famous for hosting elegantly casual gatherings at their St. Helena hillside retreat, Northfork Ranch. winemaking program at Dutch Henry. He draws you in with unpretentious playfulness,
but captures your attention with his knowledge and eagerness to share what he loves.
